This certification is an important point of attention when hiring staff. In most cases, a collective labour agreement requires a temporary employment agency to be NEN 4400-1 certified. For clients, it is important to avoid the risks of liability and fines by working with a certified company.

The SNA quality mark for the temporary employment sector is based on the NEN 4400. The Labour Standards Foundation (Stichting Normering Arbeid) keeps the register of companies that have the quality mark. Companies with the SNA quality mark are sharply tested. This way a client knows for sure that he is dealing with a reliable party. The VCU-certificate relates to Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) and is intended for work where increased risks are involved. Temporary employment agencies are not required by law to work with a VCU certificate and but DC People finds it reassuring to know that our data centre co-workers are well instructed about working conditions, the nature of the work and any risky situations that may arise. In order to maintain VCU certification, all our employees must follow a VCA course. In our VCU manual DC People describes the safety procedures and this is assessed by an independent body.
