The Project Manager Electrical will be primarily responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing all electrical aspects related to the data center project. This includes power distribution, backup power solutions, cooling systems, and energy efficiency measures. He or she will collaborate closely with various internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the project is executed on time, within budget, and upholds the highest industry standards.The company specializes in data center infrastructure and is at the forefront of technological innovation. They are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager specializing in Electrical Systems for data centers to lead the electrical engineering aspects of our most ambitious project: constructing Europe’s largest data center in Norway.
Function
– Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in datacenter architecture and construction crews.
– Monitor project milestones related to electrical engineering and make adjustments as necessary
– Provide regular status reports to M&E manager
– Ensure quality assurance and control for all electrical systems, in compliance with industry best practices and regulations
– Ensure all electrical work complies with national and international safety standards and regulations
Job Requirements
– Minimum of 5 years experience in managing electrical systems projects, specifically in the datacenter industry
– Proven experience in overseeing engineering teams and budgets
– Leadership and excellent communication skills
– Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus
– EU passport or valid Norwegian work permit
– Willingness to travel to and stay in Norway for extended periods
